Westbury Park Players

Westbury Park Players

This group has been established for over 80 years and has its own premises in the Tennis club in Russell Grove, Henleaze, Bristol

The group puts on plays twice a year and in the past has competed in the one-act festivals.

It uses the Newman Hall for performances - a very good venue in Henleaze.

The Group is hoping to set up its own Web Site soon.

Membership fees are £5 for patrons and £15 for full members.

Westbury Park Players also has an exchange with  the

Mittwoch Theater group in Hannover, Bristol's twin city.

Visits between the groups take place every two years, alternating between the cities, and each group performs a play in its own language. The performances in both cities are very popular and are well-attended.

The production this year will be Alan Ayckbournís Time of My Life and Eve is still

looking to cast four men and three women. There will be a further meeting on

Thursday 18 June at the Tennis Club, Russell Grove, Henleaze at 8.00pm.

Contact eve.fitt@btinternet.com for further information.

Previous productions by Bristol Theatre Exchange include Voyage Round My Father in 2000 and Canterbury Tales in 2005.
